Harvest Assembly - Wednesday 18th October

At 2.30pm on Wednesday 18th October we are holding a Harvest Assembly in school. This will be led by Jean Scott from the Bethany Church. In preparation for this, we are asking our families for food donations which will go to the Food Bank based at the Bethany Church to help support local families in crisis with a short term supply of food. Suggested donations include:

UHT Milk, instant mash, cereal, coffee, tinned soup, baked beans, tinned rice pudding, tinned fruit, tinned tomatoes, pasta sauces, tinned vegetables, tinned meat or fish, ta bags, biscuits or snacks

Houghton Feast 2017

To prepare for this year's Houghton Feast, our Y5/6 class have taken part in a lantern making workshop. The theme for this year is Time Travel and as you can see, they went with a Dr Who vibe! Ten children will represent Gillas Lane and carry their lanterns as part of the opening ceremony on Friday 6th October. Come along and marvel at their amazing lanterns!
